FINANCE/REVENUE BILLING 
                         AND 
                COLLECTION DEPARTMENT

        The Finance and Revenue Billing and Collection Departments are located in 
        downtown Morehead City at 706 Arendell Street.  Hours of operation for these
        departments are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Finance
The Finance Department is responsible for the following functions:

• Administering financial polices and procedures
• Managing Town funds
• Maintaining complete records of all financial transactions
• Budgetary, financial, and grant reporting
• Accounts payable
• Payroll
• Business insurance administration
• Operating a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA)

The CMRA operation includes private mailboxes and window service for the purchase of stamps and mailing. Mailboxes are served Monday through Saturday.  Window service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Revenue Billing and Collection
The Revenue Billing and Collection Department is responsible for the following:

• Property tax billing and collection
• Utility billing and collection
• Utility service request processing
• Privilege license billing and collection
